Since it's Thanksgiving week and everyone is talking about thankfulness, I'll do it too :)  Below are pictures of a family who have greatly impacted my life this past year.  I write about them all the time, but seriously, they have taken me into their home and am I now known as Auntie Sarah!!

Ben and his Auntie Sarah

Amazing wonderful Amanda

Ben and Daddy Brandon

I don't know what I would do if this family wasn't in my life.  Amanda cooks for me all the time :)  Brandon gives great advice and is like a big brother to me.  The boys and I watch movies, ride bikes, and play WII.

  1. Hi Sarah! I saw the facebook link you posted to your new blog back when you started it, and just remembered it tonight, and thought I'd check back. I really enjoyed reading your last bunch of posts (even though they're a little old by now)! :) What a blessing this family must be to you, and I'm sure you are to them, too!

Also, I just wanted to say that I understand your struggles with contentment during this 'waiting period' before marriage - it's hard! But what you wrote about it is really good ... how we need to learn to really trust God's plan, whether and/or whenever He decides to include the things we ask for - because His ways are so far above ours!

And it makes me really happy that God is giving you a heart to desire a family, if He blesses you with one. So many women and couples miss out on this vision in our day and age, but it's such a beautiful one! Anyway - I just thought I'd drop a line (or twenty) and let you know I've been reading and enjoying your writing. :) God bless!

p.s. Giraffe is a cool looking horse!
